Greenwich Junior League Christmas Tree

I was asked by the Greenwich Junior League to decorate and donate a tree for their Enchanted Forest event. Here is a close up of my tree. I chose flocked and “sugared” fruit, beaded birds and ornaments and some glass ornaments in various shades of turquoise blue and green. My own tree is covered in ornaments that have been collected through the years and clearly not thematic. It evokes all the memories of Christmases past. What are your holiday tree decorating traditions? How do you decorate your tree and home for the holiday’s?
