Buffets and sideboards are versatile pieces which work in a variety of rooms, and are available in many styles! From hosting an elegant soiree to being used as an in-office wet bar, the options for styling buffets and sideboards are limited only by your creativity!
Masculine Options
The Artisan Grand Credenza from Hickory Chair‘s 1911 Collection is masculine and stately. Inspired by a mid-century chair piece, this is a prime example of a classic piece of furniture that will work in almost any design. We envision this credenza in a study or an office.
Also ideal for an office or a posh workspace is this Caldera Credenza from Gregorius Pineo. Made of Oak, and available in various finishes, I prefer this piece with the Interlace Carving panel option (shown), though the Santorini panel option is lovely as well.
Statement Pieces
This WY Arley Mirrored Sideboard is a prime example of a sideboard that refuses to be overlooked. This piece features three shelves, each with three compartments; storage has never been so stylish!
Hardly anything is as exquisite as the made-to-order furniture line from Jean de Merry. Combining inspiration from the 1940’s with neo-classic design, this piece is functioning art. I am most impressed by the heirloom finishing technique, which renders a naturally aged authenticity.
