Lavender has always been one of my favorite colors – I love the smokey lavender and taupe color of this wallpaper from Zoffany, Ltd and paired it with Benjamin Moore’s Winter Gray #2117-60. Adding some beautiful silver and crystal accents really makes these colors shimmer in Winter. I have been wearing Chanel’s nail color #603 Charivari on my nails this Winter – a deep sophisticated plum. And as we move toward Spring I have discovered a paler Essie polish that I also love – called Ladylike!
Lavender’s in decorating look amazing paired with grays, taupes, chocolates and even a dash of black. When using Lavender and Mauve’s in decorating keep the colors a little grayed out to keep your room from looking like a left over Easter decoration.
